about

Improvised lockdown solo with guitar, pedal effect & amplifier
Grasse, French Riviera, France.

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate... All those moments will be lost in time, like... tears in rain. Time to die."

Christian Vialard (FR) studied art and began music with experiments and abstract compositions, between noise and post rock. His projects give rise to concerts / performances, records (on Grautag, Tiramizu, Optical Sound, Éditions Jou) and sound installations. Christian Vialard is part of Hypogé with writer Eric Arlix and guitarist Serge Teyssot-Gay, a unique project between literature and concert reinvented with each performance.

His latest project La Tête dans les Nuages (2019) is a duet with Éric Arlix. Christian Vialard also created Tiramizu, an experimental music label bringing together many international experimental musicians (Kira Kira, Eddie Ladoire, Kasper T. Toeplitz, Sébastien Roux, Li Jiaong, Laurent Dailleau, Vincent Epplay, Charlemagne Palestine,…).

He is also a painter, designer and ceramist.
