Transcultures et les Pépinières européennes de Création ont demandé à plusieurs auteurs de différents pays d’écrire pendant le confinement leurs impressions poétiques, réflexions, interrogations...

Ces contributions "confinées" ont été centralisée au fur et à mesure via une plateforme Web, certaines sous forme "de "journal" ou "correspondance", d'autres sous forme de textes ou documents visuels, multimédia... selon l'humeur et/ou la nécessité. Une sélection sera publiée dès le mois de juin sur le site de Transcultures.. L'ensemble de ces contributions originales (les textes pouvant être complétées par des visuels, sons ou autres sources multimédia) sera mise en ligne sur le site de Transcultures et pour certains, feront l'objet d'une publication papier au cours de l'année 2021.

En outre, une sélection de ces textes lus par leurs auteurs, ferait l’objet de mise en son par l'artiste et producteur Paradise Now. Certaines de ces pièces seront progressivement publiées en ligne à partir de juin et l'ensemble des ces pièces audio poétiques constituera l'album “No Lockdown Sonopoetics” édité, en septembre 2020, sur l'alter label Transonic, dans sa série Sonopoetics dédiée aux créations mêlant poésie/littérature vivante et création sonore.

From a selection of texts - in the framework of the “Confined correspondences” commissioned during the recent lockdown period by Transcultures and the European Pepinieres of Creation and their No Lockdown Art programme - written by different authors/artists from different countries, the sound artist/producer Paradise Now has created several audio cinematic pieces from the the voices and read writings of these authors (and other guests for the occasion).

This material will be gradually published online, during 2020/21, before being released later as a discographic production (entitled No Lockdown Sonopoetics) on the indie label Transonic.

some seeds only sprout after fire has cracked them open
..................................................some after frost, or digestion and excretion

some bodies are bodies of water
..................................................some interconnect underground

some birds fly thousands of miles to nest
..................................................some never return

some let their young freefall from high cliffs to safety

some fish swim out to sea
..................................................some come back to fresh water

some mammals wander away to die alone
..................................................some hide to birth

some mothers carry their little ones close to skin, feather, fur, leaf, root
..................................................some leave them in others' care

some bodies are meant to walk on water

some bodies carry water within them in pouches under their skin

some to let water in

some bodies are water

some are cold ..........................some warm

some are fast ..........................some take their time

some froth, swirl, turn, pull back, overflow

some bodies change color

some bodies wax and wane

some shine, some reflect
