“From November 15 to 20, 2021, I went with my spouse in retirement /creative residence to Charette, a small municipality in Mauricie, 140 km northeast of Montreal. A friend recently acquired the old village bar with the aim of transforming the place into a creative center dedicated to research and healing in the form of a residence. We were the “testers” of the concept in a way. My goal was, first of all, to explore the possibilities of new equipment recently acquired. I thus recorded all my experiments in the form of multiple improvisations. Then I started to make assemblies for new compositions with the relevant material. This is the way I have always worked: multiple improvisations to create the basic material and then, editing.
