No signal, le nouvel EP de Thibault Drouillon aka MISTY et le premier ouvrant le département Transonic Emergences sur l’alter label Transonic produit par Transcultures, est le fruit de son introspection sur son regard sur un monde où les intéractions se sont vu fragilisées durant cette période virale historique.

Les cinq tracks instrumentaux qui composent No signal conjuguent des rythmiques électro tranchées, souvent groovy avec des ambiances urbaines et des éléments mélodiques aériens, le tout servi par une production claire et efficace.

No signal, Thibault Drouillon aka MISTY latest EP (opening the Transonic Emergences dpt on the independent label Transonic produced by Transcultures) is the fruit of his introspection on his view of a world where interactions have been weakened during this historical viral period.

The five instrumental tracks featuring on No Signal combine sharp electro groovy rhythms with urban atmospheres and aerial melodic elements, all served by a clear and efficient production.

MISTY (My Introspection Shared To You) est le projet sonore de l’artiste intermédiatique belge Thibaut Drouillon, nourri par l'ambient, la braindance et la techno.
L'usage de l'aléatoire, de la polyrythmie, du field recording et de procédés génératifs sont au centre de sa pratique musicale. Le tout est ensuite balisé par des rythmiques carrées voire robotiques avec aussi des influences breakbeat.

MISTY (My Introspection Shared To You) is the sonic project of Belgian intermedia artist Thibaut Drouillon, nourished by ambient, braindance and techno music.

The use of randomness, polyrhythm, field recordings and generative processes are central to his musical practice. The whole thing is then marked out by square or sometimes robotic rhythms with also breakbeat influences.
