Transonic, l'alter label produit par Transcultures présente une nouvelle compilation qui réunit des sélections de pièces sonores (performances, installations,...) réalisées lors des éditions du festival des arts sonores City Sonic en 2016 (Mons, Bruxelles) et 2017 (Charleroi, Bruxelles, La Louvière). Edité par Philippe Franck (directeur artistique de City Sonic), ce disque est aussi un témoignage de la créativité audio indépendante et de l'ouverture esthétique (du minimalisme immersif, les paysages organiques à la poésie sonore en passant par le post-rock/post folk lancinant ou encore les musiques improvisées) tant du festival que du label Transonic.
Transonic, the alter label produced by Transcultures presents a new compilation that brings together selections of sound art(s) pieces (performances, installations, ...) created during the edition of the City Sonic sound arts festival in 2016 (Mons, Brussels) and 2017 (Charleroi, Brussels , La Louvière). Edited by Philippe Franck (artistic director of City Sonic), this CD is also a testimony of independent audio creativity and aesthetic openness (from immersive minimalism, organic landscapes to sound poetry and post-rock / post nagging folk or improvised music) from both the festival and the Transonic label.
